Why guess when you can test?! The Hillman Thread Sizer set takes a wide range of commonly used nut and bolt sizes and puts them on one compact, portable, and easy to use tool. Now you'll know without a doubt the size and thread of the fastener you have in hand. It is a time and money saver that will help eliminate the usual guessing, sorting, and fumbling trying to find or figure out the right size.
Each male/female gauge is made of durable steel with the size clearly marked on the side. The gauges are strung on steel cables and organized in size order on Fractional (red) and Metric (blue) strings. The flexible cables make it easy to store the put in a drawer, carry in a tool box, or hang up on the wall. Gauge is set up to check fasteners in UNC, UNF, and Metric thread.
UNC Threads - 6-32, 8-32, 10-24, 1/4-20, 5/16-18, 3/8-16, 7/16-14, and 1/2-13
UNF Threads - 10-32, 1/4-28, 5/16-24, 3/8-24, 7/16-20, and 1/2-20
Metric Threads - M4x0.7, M5x0.8, M6x1.0, M8x1.0, M8x1.25, M10x1.0, M10x1.25, M10x1.5, M12x1.25, M12x1.5, and M12x1.75
