Scotts WeedEX Preventer with Halts is meant to be applied in spring to prevent crabgrass, foxtail, spurge, barnyard grass, fall panicum, goosegrass, oxalis, and other problem weeds all season long. Fall application of this prevents winter weeds such as henbit, chickweed, poa annua, corn speedwell, and moss. Rain, snow, or freezing weather after application will not affect product performance. For best results, apply with broadcast, drop, and hand-held spreaders. Comes in a ready to use 10.06 lb. pour bag that can cover up to 5,000 sq. ft.
