Norton Waterstone Flattening Stone. Because of the softness of the material, water stones do wear concave with use and require periodic re-flattening. The Norton Waterstone Flattening Stone has a coarse silicon carbide to quickly cut the stone, and diagonal grooves to promote efficient removal of swarf. Measuring 9" x 3" x 3/4", it is engineered for extreme flatness. Works with all grits of water stones. Italy and USA
