General Purpose Table Saw Blade - A general purpose blade designed to deliver smooth ripping and cross cuts in a wide range of materials. The blade to buy if you can only afford one. 10" x 1/8" x 40 Tooth with 5/8" arbor. HATB-VP - High alternating top bevel with variable pitch.
Utilizing time proven variable tooth technology, H. O. Schumacher blades provide improved cuts, reduced sanding, and have longer tool life in high-end production environments. By minimizing resonance, the blades run truer than those that do not use the variable tooth concept. Rather than making a "singing" noise like other blades, they simply hum when running. The large Euro-style "Bohlerit" carbide teeth are some of the highest quality carbide in the world. The size and quality of the teeth ensure long cutting life and allow many re-sharpenings. To further insure quality and optimal performance the blades are hand hammered for flatness and proper body tension.
Other features of the "Low Noise Series" saw blades include: Laser Cut Bodies to minimize dilation to the body of the blade; Laser Cut Expansion Slots to allow blade to expand and contract during use, and keep cuts straight and true without adding to harmonic noise build up; Laser Cut & Polished Arbors to give true centering of the blade for accurate rotation helping to eliminate harmonic vibration; and a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects!
