The Makita 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder features a powerful 6.0 AMP motor and delivers 11,000 RPM making it the ideal tool for professionals such as masons, welders, ship yard workers, automotive technicians, stone/tile workers, HVAC, electricians and general contractors. The grinder is designed to be compact with a 2-1/4-inch diameter barrel and light weight at only 4-lbs for reduced user fatigue. For added durability, the tool has a Labyrinth construction that protects the motor and bearings while the zig-zag varnish creates a barrier to protect the armature. The side handle can be positioned on either side of the tool and also at an increased 20° angle for additional comfort. For added convenience users can utilize the slide lock-on switch for continuous operation.
