Gates PoweRated gives coverage for hundreds of drives that no belt manufacturer has previously been able to satisfactorily cover. PoweRated belts are especially designed to handle the severe operating conditions found clutching, heavy shock loaded, and back-idler driven lawn and garden equipment in the 3 to 15 HP range. No light-duty belt assortment is complete today unless it includes Gates PoweRated V-Belts. Gates PoweRated cross-reference guide available on request. What PoweRated numbers mean: 6835 - The first digit (6) indicates it is of special construction, in this case a PoweRated belt. 6835 - The second digit (8) indicates top width of belt: 67 prefix is a 3/8" PoweRated belt. 68 prefix is a 1/2" PoweRated belt. 69 prefix is a 5/8" PoweRated belt. 6835 - The last 2 digits (35) designate the outside circumference of the belt, in inches.
