The DEWALT 20V MAX* 1/2" Hammer Drill Driver with FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE™ technology provides up to 42% more power when paired with FLEXVOLT® batteries. This tool is optimized with a 3-speed transmission and a 1/2-inch heavy-duty ratcheting chuck constructed of nitro-carburized metal. The carbide inserts of the bit are designed to provide greater grip and strength. The tool also has incorporated LEDs which offer 3 light modes, a 20X brighter shine than the DEWALT 3-Speed Hammer Drill (DCD985) and an extended spotlight mode. The spotlight mode is designed to allow users to work for extended periods of time in dark or confined spaces like inside cabinets and the LED light won’t shut off for 20-minutes. This Hammer Drill is Tool Connect™ Chip Ready which means it can be paired with a DCE042 Tool Connect™ Chip (sold separately) and connected to the Tool Connect™ Site Manager app. Battery is not included (sold separately).
