The DEWALT 20V MAX* XR® 1/2" Hammer Drill/Driver Kit includes (2) 20V MAX* 5.0 Ah battery packs, a charger and a hard case. This 1/2" Cordless Hammer Drill/Driver features a powerful brushless motor that delivers 75% more runtime compared to 18V NiCad Brushed motors. This tool is optimized with a 3-speed transmission and a 1/2-inch heavy-duty ratcheting chuck constructed of nitro-carburized metal. The carbide inserts of the bit are designed to provide greater grip and strength. The tool also has incorporated LEDs which offer 3 light modes, a 20X brighter shine than the DEWALT 3-Speed Hammer Drill (DCD985) and an extended spotlight mode. The spotlight mode is designed to allow users to work for extended periods of time in dark or confined spaces like inside cabinets and the LED light won’t shut off for 20-minutes.
The included 20V MAX* 5.0 Ah batteries offer 33% more capacity compared to standard batteries and come with an integrated fuel gauge that indicates power level.
