It can be positioned after hard surface floors and adjoining floors have been installed, making it a versatile choice for flooring projects. This transition piece features hidden fasteners for safety and a clean appearance. It is suitable for use with hard surface floors, vinyl floors, and carpeting. The transition is made of durable aluminum, ensuring longevity and resistance to wear and tear. For carpet installation on a concrete surface, it is recommended to drill a hole in the concrete, insert a 3/16" x 1-1/4" or 1/4" x 1-1/4" wood dowel, and use the provided screw nails to secure the carpet metal in place, expanding the dowel to lock it securely.
