To attach each post cap style to the post, apply an exterior-grade construction adhesive to the underside of the post cap and place firmly on the post. It is recommended that you coat any wood products with a high-quality exterior finish to preserve the wood’s natural beauty and ensure long-lasting results. Be sure to apply the finish to all wood areas, including the underside of the cap, before installation.
