The Makita 40V XGT® Brushless Cordless 15" String Trimmer is designed to Out-power, Out-smart and Out-last! It features a Makita-built Outer Rotor brushless motor that offers high power and increased torque. The Automatic Torque Drive Technology mode automatically shifts between 3 ,500-6,500 RPM to extend run time or add power. It also features 3 variable speed options which gives operators more control over matching speed to application. For increased productivity, this cordless trimmer is equipped with a 15-inch cutting swath and a reversible rotation function for quickly clearing an entangled trimmer head. The rapid load bump and feed trimmer head line loads in 3 quick and easy steps: align, feed and twist. Paired with the included 40V XGT® 4.0Ah Makita Battery this tool provides up to 1 hour of operation.
