This knife takes the design forward even more by incorporating Spyderco’s injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales and a streamlined version of the patented Compression Lock™ mechanism to create this Para™ 3 Lightweight. At almost 30% lighter than G-10 handled knives, this Para™ 3 Lightweight knife features a liner-less, open-backed construction with a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture pattern for ultimate gripping support. The stainless steel lock bar insert builds a foundation for the sturdy locking mechanism but keeps the overall weight of the tool down to a minimum. The blade’s CTS® BD1N, nitrogen-enriched high-carbon chromium steel provides superior hardness, edge retention and corrosion resistance. Featuring Spyderco’s signature Trademark Round Hole™ this Para™ 3 Lightweight Knife also offers quick, left or right-hand opening. In addition, the Para™ 3 includes an integrated reversible clip that provides ambidextrous tip-up carry and a tether-ready hole for additional attachment methods to fobs or lanyards.
