The XRU23Z trimmer features Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust from internal components during severe weather to improve operation. The tool also features Makita’s Star Protection Computer Controls™ which protects against overloading, over-discharging and overheating through the exchange of data between the tool and battery.
