The Makita 36V LXT® Cordless 16" Chainsaw Kit includes (4) 18V LXT® 5.0 Ah Batteries and a Dual Port Rapid Charger. Built with an Outer Rotor BL™ Brushless Motor this battery-powered chainsaw delivers power that matches 32 cc gas chainsaws. Paired with (4) Makita LXT® 5.0Ah Batteries this handheld saw can make up to 380 cuts in 4 x 4 cedar. It delivers variable speed from 0-3,940 FPM and requires less maintenance making it easier to grab and go. For added convenience, this tool features “tool-less” chain adjustments, a front hand guard, an electric brake, and an auto power-off function that automatically shuts the tool off when operation is delayed. In addition, this tool has a large oil filling port with a view window allowing users to easily check the oil level. At only 11.1-lbs with batteries and with the rubberized soft grip top handle, this saw is sure to reduce user fatigue and help evenly spread cutting pressure. It is protected by Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust away from internal components.
