This 36 Grit SG (seeded gel) Red Heat Sanding Belt from Norton utilizes a premium ceramic alumina grain delivering a superior cut rate to anything on the market. The ceramic grain "micro-fractures" during the sanding process, leaving a razor sharp edge throughout the life of the belt. You get 5X the total performance.
Its symmetrically-shaped design leaves a much finer scratch pattern compared to other abrasives, allowing for an aggressive cut without deep scratches that might be seen after staining or finishing. Combine all of this with a heavy, flexible cotton backing and you have ultimate durability and longevity. Belt is washable for extended life. Just rinse and reuse. Includes one 6" X 48" belt. USA
