The Bosch 6-1/2-Inch Track Saw with Plunge Action offers quick and easy setup for clean finish cuts in wood and wood-based sheet materials such as laminated particle boards and plywood. It offers a 12.5-foot power cord for an extended cutting range and measurements in both the inch and metric depth scales. The saw’s plunge mechanism offers precise plunge cuts with accurate depth of cut and has a single pivot point for both bevel or non-bevel cuts. The specialized 48-tooth 6-1/2-inch track saw blade is designed to give clean, accurate results while the magnesium footplate offers durability at a lighter weight. The saw also features a variable speed motor that allows operators to match speed to material or task. The motor is protected against overheating by the tool’s Overload Protection technology while the constant electronics help it maintain it’s speed under load even in the most demanding applications. For efficient dust extraction and a cleaner working environment, this saw’s swivel hose port allows a compatible vacuum cleaner to be attached and swiveled out of the way. The saw also offers quick and easy blade changes with three-steps, a spindle lock and an on-board hex key. For additional convenience and a better cutting experience, the tracking adjustment on this tool features front and rear knobs for adjusting the precision of fit of the saw to the track. In addition, Bosch offers a full range of optional attachments for cutting versatility such as (4) different track lengths, a connector for connecting multiple tracks, an angle guide and a rip fence.
