The Crown #187RSMW 4" Offset Saw is not only a downsized version of it's bigger 10" brother, but it also has finer teeth for smoother cuts. It is best suited for cutting close to flat surfaces without interference from the saw back or your hand, such as when trimming a dowels or tenons flush with the surface. It gets into more difficult spots where other saws cannot. Blade is "reversible" for both right handed and left handed cuts. High carbon steel blade, with brass back and rosewood handle. Blade is 4" (102mm) long x .020" thick with 20 tpi. Cross-cut pattern. Sheffield, England.
